Senior Leadership

Experience matters. Premium Retail Services is led by an array of seasoned retail and CPG veterans. Each member of our senior leadership team brings unique expertise across a broad mix of trade channels. Leading our company with a proactive and customer-centric approach, our executive team is intensely focused on promoting a company culture that transforms superior in-store service into a healthier bottom line for you.

Brian Travers - Partner/President, Operations Group

Brian joined Premium in 1987, just two years after the company was founded by his father, Ron. As the architect of Premium’s infrastructure, Brian has focused on growing Premium with a seasoned senior management team, experienced field management, an all-employee workforce, proactive client services representatives and an innovative information technology group.

A driving force behind Premium’s first major growth period, Brian continues to expand our business by establishing and maintaining rock solid relationships with our clients. His customer-centric approach to customizing solutions for our clients ensures consistent achievement of their often unique retail objectives.

Having led both Premium’s sales group as well as our operations group over the years, Brian brings a well-rounded approach to delivering superior results for our retail and CPG partners.

Kevin Travers - Partner/President, Sales & Marketing Group

Kevin began his career with Premium in 1996 and like his brother Brian, has made his mark in both operations and sales. While heading operations, Kevin assembled an information technology team to custom-build Premium’s enterprise management system, Quick-Trax. Today, Quick-Trax is an essential component of our goal to more efficiently plan and execute programs while providing detailed reporting for our customers.

In 2006, Kevin transitioned to his current leadership role over Premium’s sales and marketing teams. Kevin’s strategy of targeting key CPG companies and retailers has led to Premium’s designation as a preferred service provider with many of these industry giants.

Much like his father Ron, Kevin’s focus is twofold: First, only by assembling an experienced sales team can Premium build and maintain key relationships. And by complementing the sales force with a forward-thinking strategic marketing team, Premium’s service offerings can remain at the forefront of retail service companies.

Jeff Schremp - Chief Financial Officer

A versatile financial executive with a diverse background in a variety of enterprises, Jeff joined the Premium team in 1999. Thanks to Jeff’s steady guidance, Premium has sustained consistent revenue and profitability growth year over year. With extensive experience ranging from corporate accounting to cash and debt management, Jeff brings accountability and financial responsibility to Premium’s operations.

Jeff also oversees the information technology group at Premium. Under Jeff’s direction, Premium’s proprietary enterprise management system Quick-Trax was built. Thanks to Jeff and his team, Premium and our customers have instant access to a wealth of innovative technologies to help us all work more efficiently and effectively at retail.

With a hands-on approach and a passion to embrace the evolution of our business, Jeff brings an essential mix of skills to Premium’s senior management team.

Sue Kohlberg - Vice President, Human Resources

Sue came to Premium in 1999 with nearly two decades of experience in human resources management in the retail and service industries. She now oversees many vital functions at Premium including recruitment, training and retention. Sue’s team also manages Premium’s competitive wages and benefits programs as well as administering our company’s policies and procedures to ensure we attract and retain the best and the brightest employees.

Since 1990, Sue has been an active member of the Human Resources Executive Round table with the local chapter of the American Association of Industrial Management.

Every day, Sue’s goal is to apply her experience and professional insight to staying current with the continuous changes and challenges presented in the Human Resources field, and to continue to grow our team with great people.

David Yenzer - Executive Vice President, Client Services & Operations

In 2010, Premium added a key industry veteran to our executive team with the addition of David Yenzer. With over 20 years of experience between Handleman Company and Reps, LLC, David managed a field team of over 3,000 people while personally developing and managing key multi-million dollar accounts. In short, he brings a wealth of operations leadership experience to Premium.

At Premium, one of David’s first initiatives was to work on upgrading Premium’s web portal interfaces and to build out training systems that will be used extensively by his Client Services and Operations teams. He also collaborated with the marketing team to develop learning tools that will enrich long-term productivity and sales.

David’s expertise at prioritizing and his motto of "It’s all good" both reflect his dedication to superior client services and operations.

Michael M. Shehadeh - Vice President, Client Services

In 2003, Michael joined Premium after more than a decade in a variety of leadership roles in sales, merchandising and marketing. Michael’s roles at United States Tobacco Company, Eastman Kodak and Leapfrog all allowed him to create and utilize retail services teams. At Leapfrog, he developed their first in-house retail service team of nearly 200 merchandisers, achieving consistent year over year growth for the company across multiple channels.

As the leader of Premium’s Client Services team, Michael has implemented numerous operational enhancements that have resulted in tremendous growth and unprecedented client retention rates. Michael also oversees Premium’s assisted sales group as well as our national fulfillment center in St. Louis.

A lifelong learner who strives to stay abreast of industry trends through training, seminars, and self study, Michael is a key driver in keeping Premium at the cutting edge.

Pat Lockridge - Vice President, Business Development

Pat joined Premium in 2007 and leads the efforts of our Walmart team. His focus also lies in growing Premium’s business in the food, drug, mass and convenience trade channels. Prior to Premium, Pat worked in consumer packaged goods for over 23 years. Having spent the first 14 years of his career with a Fortune 100 CPG company, Pat managed both the sales team and the company’s broker network. With experience in helping partners attain a measurable return on investment, Pat has also built or managed over two dozen dedicated retail teams for a variety of clients.

Under Pat’s guidance, the team is focused on delivering consistent, results-oriented retail coverage for Walmart stores. From correcting out of stocks to conducting in-store training and much more, Premium’s Walmart team benefits from the leadership of an experienced retail executive in Pat.

Laura Sorgenfrei - Vice President, TOTAL Program

At Premium, Laura developed our TOTAL Program and now oversees all sales, marketing, client services and field operations for them. Additionally, her responsibilities include working closely with Premium’s client services and field operations divisions in assisted sales and training.

Laura’s ability to anticipate and understand the needs of our customers assists Premium in developing scalable, measurable initiatives for not only our company, but also our clients. Her leadership and forward-thinking approach have led to exponential return on investment for TOTAL clients and similar growth for other manufacturing and retail partners who work with Premium.

Olaf Strom - Vice President, Business Development

Since his arrival at Premium in 2006, Olaf has acquired several high priority accounts that have enabled our company to reinforce its presence in major mass and specialty retailers nationwide. Bringing more than 20 years of major consumer product goods experience, Olaf managed national and key regional accounts for a major international toy manufacturer, including responsibilities for global in-store execution. Highlighting Olaf’s expertise is his direct responsibility for managing multiple service teams consisting of up to 900 retail merchandising representatives, while consistently maintaining a steady 98% average store completion rate.

Olaf’s ability to develop key relationships while successfully managing large teams makes him a versatile, progressive leader on the Premium team.
